TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – In Iran classical Iranian concerts, using classical instruments, are permanently held at concert halls. Ney is an end-blown flute which is one of the oldest musical instruments still in use. Daf is a large Persian frame drum used in popular and classical music. The frame is usually made of hardwood with many metal ringlets attached, and the membrane is usually goatskin.
